YWCA Single Moms Sunday Workshop Series

Day 1 (Oct 5 in-person):   Rainbows from the Dark: Chasing Perfect Parenting from an Imperfect Childhood

An introduction to Conscious Parenting and a deep dive into the challenges of being a "Conscious Parent'  which stem from our own childhood that shapes who we are and how we see the world around us.

Day 2 (Oct 19 online):  Our Crowded Minds:  Belief Systems That Cause Suffering

An introduction of how the human brain and emotions are connected in the reactions we have to triggering events caused by our beliefs.   Society has numbed our ability to process feelings so we carry our past wounds into current relationships.

Day 3 (Oct 26 online) :  Staying Human:  Turning Fear into Love

Communication between humans, young and old, is a key skill to connecting with others.  The greatest challenge is how to communicate when we are under stress which requires us to change our toxic social norms and shift our lens away from fear.

Day 4 (Nov 2 in-person):  Searching for the Source:  The Meaning of Self-Love

Re-alignment of our mind-body-spirit connection as a foundation for self-love;  a deep dive on how our bodies and hearts already know.
