Drawing on her experience as a clinical HIV pharmacist in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, Arleen Tyndall shares trauma-informed principles of Conscious Parenting to help parents of children of all ages build deeper emotional connections and healthier family dynamics.

This practical, compassionate workshop explores how stress and emotional pain can lead both adults and children to unhealthy self-soothing behaviors — from excessive screen use to other forms of escape — and how parents can model healthier coping strategies.

Parents will gain simple, effective tools to reduce emotional reactivity, strengthen attachment, and create emotionally safe environments that support resilience, healing, and long-term emotional well-being for the whole family.
