Raising Resilient Daughters

  • The Space, Lonsdale Quay Market, 2nd Floor 123 Carrie Cates Court North Vancouver, BC, V7M 3K7 Canada (map)

In today’s high-pressure world of achievement, performance, and constant comparison, many girls are growing up driven, capable, and deeply sensitive. While ambition and discipline are strengths, internalized pressure can lead to anxiety, self-criticism, perfectionism, and emotional overwhelm.

This 1-hour Conscious Parenting workshop for mothers explores how to raise resilient daughters who are confident, self-trusting, and emotionally grounded — without increasing stress or fear of failure.

You’ll learn how high-achieving girls internalize expectations, how nervous system regulation impacts confidence, and why connection — not control — is the foundation of resilience. Through practical tools and simple somatic (body-based) practices, mothers will gain strategies to reduce performance anxiety, support emotional regulation, and strengthen the mother–daughter relationship.
